The Myall Park Botanic Garden Gallery is dedicated to Dorothy Gordon. It houses the collection of original Dorothy Gordon wildflower paintings and also displays touring and local exhibitions with a botanical focus. Significant artists have worked as artists-in-residence over the years and have been commissioned to produce artworks for the collection. ‘Art in the Garden' is a growing collection of artworks and artistic projects from renowned artists such as Victoria Cooper, Michelle Potter, Marcelle Stirling and Ben Somerville. An art trail brochure has been developed to facilitate the discovery of these unique artworks whilst visiting the garden.
Workshops with a botanical and environmental focus are regularly held at Myall Park Botanic Garden. Attached to the gallery is a gift shop where artistic wares, books and souvenirs can be purchased. The Myall Park Botanic Garden Gallery is available to hire for functions and events; and its surrounding gardens and facilities are the main activity hub during Myall Park Botanic Garden's annual Spring Day in August each year.
Myall Park Botanic Garden is privately owned and run by a Board of Honorary Directors. Its operations are supported by Western Downs Regional Council. For more information or to confirm opening hours on the day of your visit, please contact the Garden via phone.
